It was co-hosted by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), the East Asian Monetary Institute (EAMI) (which is part of the NEAR Foundation), and the Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry (RIETI). G-15 consists of five researchers from Japan, China and South Korea, respectively. The participants assemble to exchange candid views to further promote cooperation in finance and the economy in the East Asian region. Japanese researchers are as follows: OGAWA Eiji (Faculty Fellow, RIETI/Professor of Hitotsubashi University, Graduate School of Commerce and Management) FUKUDA Shin-ichi (Professor, Graduate School of Economics, Faculty of Economics, The University of Tokyo) FUKAGAWA Yukiko (Professor, Waseda University School of Political Science and Economics) ONO Arito (Senior Economist, Mizuho Research Institute Ltd.) YOSHIDA Yasuhiko (Senior Fellow, RIETI) Presentations were made and discussions followed both in the morning session (closed) and afternoon session (open).
